Massey University’s School of Design is New Zealand’s longest established design school. The College of Creative Arts recently celebrated 125 years of art and design education.

Internationally accredited

Many of the degree courses and schools at Massey are internationally accredited.

These include:

  • Business School – in the top 2% globally. Accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).
  • Bachelor of Engineering – accredited by the Washington Accord and the Institute of Professional Engineers New Zealand (IPENZ).
  • Aviation – the first non-engineering degree to be recognised by the Royal Aeronautical Society and has ISO9001-2000 accreditation.
  • Food Technology degree – has a 40-year track record. Massey is one of two universities outside the Americas, accredited by the US based Institute of Food Technologists (IFT).

Auckland campus

Massey University’s Auckland campus is known as the Innovation Campus because of the diverse study and research programmes on offer.

The Auckland campus is home to students at post-graduate level who regularly make world-leading discoveries.

Manawatū campus

The Manawatū campus is a park-like campus with heritage buildings located near Palmerston North city.

The campus is home to many higher education programmes including bachelor, master, and doctorate programmes in fields such as the sciences, engineering, aviation and agriculture.

Wellington campus

The creative campus for the University, the Wellington campus is in the heart of Wellington and close to the cultural highlights of the city.

The Wellington campus offers higher education programmes in subjects including Art, Design, Communication and Business.
